If you haven't already heard the story...

It all started back in the fall of 2012 in Nashville, thanks to the University of Florida Gators. Erin was a freshman and Danny was a senior (fifth year to be exact) and they met on Vanderbilt Roadtrip. That night Danny had a hard time remembering Erin's name even though his only sister is also named Erin. However, fast forward a few months and they were going on each other's sorority and fraternity date functions and having a ball. Some said Danny robbed the cradle but he always called Erin an investment.

When the time came for Danny to leave his victory lap (and a half) behind, he moved to Louisville and started his career as an engineer. Erin and Danny spent weekends planning and summers traveling back and forth between Louisville and Florida. Long distance was an adventure for them. In between they made sure to capitalize on all the memories (and sports stadiums).

Finally, the time came for Danny to return to Florida and begin his next career opportunity in Jacksonville, Florida. Erin somehow sold Danny on the fact that Jacksonville was the place to be because 1) Florida/Georgia and 2) The Players Championship aka TPC. Their world still revolved around sports but this time it was a win win situation for everyone!

Fast forward to the summer of 2021, the moment for the big proposal. Danny had sought advice from Lindsey and Rose on how to make the big day perfect. Erin and Danny have a tradition of driving down Ponte Vedra Boulevard and sipping Starbucks. It was the evening of a surprise birthday soiree for Erin's mom, Becky. Erin had a feeling and when she walked out in bright pink dress and Danny's response was "are you sure you want to wear that?" Erin's response without any hesitation was "I'm sure."

As they drove over to Becky's birthday, Danny mentioned he had to stop somewhere. They get out of the car and walked over to the fountain. As they were walking to the spot, Danny reassured her that he had asked her dad (to which he had previously fibbed about). Danny managed to pull off the surprise of a lifetime (well kinda thanks to Erin's inquisitive personality), however Becky and the rest of their families could not have been more thrilled.

Erin and Danny can't wait to celebrate their next chapter of life with all of their family and friends!!
